Nikki Haley, former Governor of South Carolina and U.N. Ambassador in the Trump Administration, announced she is running for President of the United States of America, 2024.
The core of her campaign, she says, is that America needs to “move past the stale ideas and faded names of the past”, to a “new generation to lead us in to the future.”
She wants us to believe her positions and policies for America are, or will be, more moderate than, say, the past administration, the one in which she worked and gave her soul to.
That might be difficult or just stupid on her part because there is nothing different, nothing has changed from past commitments to her dear leader.
For example, at her launch, Haley chose Pastor John Hagee to bless her campaign (and Hagge was an ‘unofficial’ advisor to Trump and close to Mike Pence).
Hagee, among other offensive ‘sermons’ from the pulpit, of which the most un-pastor-like, most stomach-churning, most disgusting is, that ‘the Holocaust was a divine plan from God’, ‘that God sent Adolf Hitler to the world in order to be a “hunter” of Jews, advancing a divinely inspired plan to push Jews back to the land of Israel’.
So, just how is Nikki Haley going to label herself a ‘moderate’ Republican, and different from Trump? Damn, even when Fox host Sean Hannity asked her more than once to name where she and Trump part on policy, she wouldn’t answer. Haley dodged the question more than once.
Nikki Haley is a Trump Republican. Period.
