
World Press Freedom Index 2022 by Reporters Without Borders
The always anticipated annual report has been published, and, for the United States of America not much has changed.
The U.S. still lags far behind Norway in first place but up on the list ahead of North Korea which places last of 180 countries.
If searching for good news, well this year the U.S. gained two places over last year, placing at 42nd. That puts the U.S. ahead of South Korea at 43 and Uruguay at 44. But, the U.S. comes in behind Burkina Faso at 41, Moldova at 40 and Taiwan at 38.
